Google makes it easier to 'Find an ATM near you'

The government's recent demonetisation drive is proving to be a huge problem for almost everyone. Due to shortage of new currency notes, serpentine queues are seen in front of ATMs and banks almost everyday.

In that stead, Google's newest offering might just make searching for your nearest ATM a lot easier. Until now, those using desktops were required to open Google's home page and physically type 'ATMs near me' to search for cash dispensers nearby.

However, all a user needs to do now is click on the new "Find an ATM near you" option after opening the search giant's home page. The option is placed just below the primary Search bar. Tapping the option would open Google Maps with the coordinates of ATMs located nearby.
