95% veterans have already got the benefit of OROP: Parrikar

Amid political battle over implementation of One Rank One Pension, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that 95% veterans have already got the benefit of OROP.

"95%+ people have already got the benefit of OROP. Rest are very old pensioners, from 1962 war. So some records are incomplete," said Parrikar.

He further added, "We are in the process of completing the records of these rest 4 - 5% and it will be done in the next two months."
