Slab on gutter at Vasai station caves in, 15 commuters injured

The cement slab covering a gutter alongside platform number 1 at Vasai railway station caved in this morning. Around 15 commuters heading towards the platform fell into the dirty gutter and sustained injuries. The incident took place at around 9am. While most sustained bruises, at least three to four commuters sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to a nearby hospital, reports the Times of India.
