Two terror attacks in a day in Srinagar leave 3 cops dead

Just in: Another terror attack in Srinagar just now. A CRPF post in Tengpora, Srinagar, has been targeted with reports of one policeman killed. This is the first attack in the heart of Srinagar since 2010. Both the places where the terror attacks took place are in the heart of Srinagar and are extremely congested. The militants were believed to be on a motorbike and ANI reports that a police rifle was snatched by them.
NDTV reports that there are intel reports of a Hizbul attack in the city soon and warnings of large scale infiltration.
Earlier in the day, two policemen were killed as terrorists attacked a police team in Srinagar's Zadibal. The attack reportedly happened in a densely-populated and congested area in central Srinagar.
Those killed include an Assistant Sub-Inspector and one constable. They were shot at from a close range, say sources.
The terrorists have reportedly managed to escape.
Mukhtar Ahmad/Rediff.com reports that another cop has been injured in a firing on the Baramullah highway.
