Teni Yadav, the cousin of Rocky Yadav, who is in judicial for 14 days, for allegedly shooting and killed a teenager in Bihar earlier this month over a road rage incident, surrendered on Monday morning in a court in Gaya.

Teni was allegedly present in Rocky's car when Aditya Sachdeva was shot dead for overtaking the car. Rocky is  the son of suspended Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader Manorama Devi, who is absconding. She is wanted by the police for violating the prohibition law in the state.

Police were looking for Teni Yadav for a week, ever since Rocky was arrested in Gaya.

Aditya Sachdeva, 19, was driving home with friends in his Maruti Swift when he overtook Rocky Yadav's Range Rover. Rocky's father, known in the area for his muscle and money power, and Manorama Devi's bodyguard Rajesh Kumar were arrested on Sunday for allegedly helping the accused escape.

Aditya's friends claim that Rocky fired a warning shot from the SUV, forcing him to stop, after which he was beaten up and then shot at. He died on the spot.
