Man shouting Allahu Akbar knifes five people in Munich

Update on the attack at Munich station: The suspected attacker was overpowered and arrested, and the authorities working to identify him believe his motive may have been "political". The attack happened at Grafing train station.

Police are checking witness statements that the man shouted "allahu akbar" during the attack, which happened shortly before 5am on Tuesday morning. It is believed all of those injured in the stabbing were men.Initial reports from a Bavarian radio station had suggested that four people were left with life-threatening injuries.
