Replying to questions raised by the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha today about the controversy over Art Of Living's World Cultural Festival, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the National Green Tribunal is hearing the matter and the event is being held adhering to all rules and laws.

He also said that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is committed towards protecting the environment and it would be wrong to doubt his commitment towards nature.

Union Minister Arun Jaitley pointed out that if some matter is pending with a tribunal, ordinarily the chair doesn't allow such issues to be raised in the House.
