BJP fields Netaji's grandnephew against Mamata Banerjee

Who will it be? Will it be Didi or Netaji's grand nephew?

The BJP has decided to field Chandra Bose, grandnephew of Subhas Chandra Bose, against Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee in the upcoming West Bengal assembly polls.

Chandra Kumar Bose ji will be the candidate against CM Mamata Banerjee, said HRD Minister Smriti Irani at a press conference.

Bose said The time has come to bring about change in West Bengal which will be brought by BJP. This is not my fight. This is the fight for development in West Bengal, added Bose who had joined the BJP in January this year.

The five-phase poll in West Bengal begins on April 4.
