MP: Celebratory firing during Holkar College anniversary celebrations

An incident of celebratory firing was reported from Indore, during the celebration of 125th anniversary of Holkar College this afternoon.

According to reports, a large number of current and former students of the college took part in the celebrations, when some shots were fired in the air and some students were also reportedly seen waving the gun in the air.

Accidents related to celebratory firing during various celebrations across the country has left several people dead or injured.In April, a 10-year-old child was killed and two others were grievously injured due to firing as part of a wedding procession in Bihar's Arrah.

The children were standing in their balcony to watch the wedding procession when a bullet, fired as part of celebrations, struck them.
