2 dead in a toxic gas leak onboard INS Vikramaditya

A sailor and a civilian worker killed in accident on board aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya undergoing a refit at Karwar.  

The Indian Navy said that Shipwright Artificer Rakesh Kumar and Mohandas Kolambkar, an employee of M/s Royal Marine succumbed due to gas inhalation. 

INS Vikramaditya is India's largest and most potent warship. The 45,000-ton modified Kiev class warship, which was Admiral Gorshkov in Russian Navy, was commissioned into the Indian Navy in November 2013.
