Rahul Gandhi softens stand on GST, says resolution soon

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi appears to have toned down his strident opposition to the GST bill. At least that is the impression one got from the half an hour he spent with media-persons in the Central Hall of Parliament on Thursday.

Stating that he would get feedback from Congress leaders in the Rajya Sabha, Gandhi said he was confident that the GST issue was likely to be resolved soon.

Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi also said that Donald Trump was ahead in the US polls, at least that was the impression he got from media reports, he said.

While he refused to comment on his taking over as AICC chief, he nevertheless agreed that groupism is the Congresss main enemy.
