Armed gunman spotted at employment office in German city of Cologne

German police have been called to a labour office building in Cologne amid reports of a man with a gun.

Staff at the office have been ordered to stay inside, and police have told the loval Express newspaper that a search operation is underway.

According to German media outlet Bild, police had an arrest warrant for a person who was said to be inside the building.
