US: At least 3 dead in shooting at Michigan courthouse

At least three people were killed in a shooting at a courthouse on Monday in southwestern Michigan, an employee at the county prosecutor's office told the Detroit Free Press.

The employee, who wished not to be named, told the newspaper that three people are dead and one person is injured.

Two of the people dead are court bailiffs. The other person dead is the shooter, the employee told the Detroit Free Press.

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder announced on Twitter that Michigan State Police has secured the scene, and is beginning its investigation into the shooting.
