Strategist Prashant Kishor has been made advisor to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and has been given a cabinet minister rank, tweets ANI_news.

Kishor it was, if you remember, who was considered instrumental in Narendra Modi's electoral blitzkrieg in 2014 that took him to 7 Racecourse Road, but who in a surprising twist crossed over to Nitish Kumar for the Bihar assembly elections last year.

The Bihar assembly elections were considered to be a clash between the strategies of Kishor and BJP president Amit Shah, and the landslide results from the state should leave no one in any doubt as to who got the better of who.

But history, as they say, is full of 'what ifs'. So let us add to the long list and ask, What if the NDA government had recognised Kishor's feat and rewarded him for it, like Nitish has done in Bihar?
