Yet another twist in the tale. The Punjab police FIR says the terrorists were from Jaish-e-Mohammed, the terror group founded by Moulana Masood Azhar (pictured). The JeM had executed the 2001 attack on the Indian Parliament. The JeM has purportedly been banned in Pakistan, but continues to operate several facilities in the country. The ISI-backed organisation was formed by Azhar after he was released in a terrorist-for-hostage swap during the IC-814 hijacking in 1999.
