Why Mayawati allowed her men to disrupt RS

Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati's party men were instrumental on Wednesday in the Rajya Sabha's repeated adjournments, with their vocal demands to get the government respond to her statement on Rohith Vemula's suicide, but it was not a spur of the moment thing.
On the contrary, it was a deliberate ploy to derail the planned discussion on Vemula, as she wanted to steal the thunder from Congress and the CPM over Dalit issues.
Mayawati is believed to have told some BJP ministers that she will stall the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday just to score points over the Congress. "They cannot take over my space of Dalit leadership,' went her argument.
