'Situation will normalise soon' Haryana DGP says about ongoing Jat protests

"In many places jams have opened up at the behest of the police," Haryana DGP Y P Singhal said whilst speaking about the ongoing Jat reservation protests.

"10 companies of Paramilitary forces have reached, another 23 are on their way," YP Singhal, Haryana DGP.

"Want to appeal that the elderly advise the younger people to not take part in such protests," Singhal said.

"Flag match is underway in affected areas. I am sure the situation will normalise soon," Singhal added.

"Would request elders of the community to discourage the youth from protesting & stop them from moving towards cities," the DGP pled to the community members.

"Our priority is to bring the situation to a calm," he said.
