TERI executive vice chairman RK Pachauri files a reply in the Delhi HC rebutting the complainant's application which alleged that some employees at TERI were made to dilute their stand. Pachauri in his reply to the Delhi HC, said that the complainant has relocated to outside India for academic pursuits or other concerns. Reacting to condemnation that a post of executive vice chairman had been created for Pachauri, his lawyer said it was in fact a demotion for him not a promotion.

The complainant in the sexual harassment case against him wrote an open letter yesterday saying the move made her "flesh crawl". "Shamelessness abounds. The news of promotion of a man who stands booked on charges of sexual harassment at workplace, stalking and criminal intimidation by the country's who's who, makes my flesh crawl," she wrote. Teri defended the move to promote Pachauri despite court proceedings against him.
