Pathankot attack: NIA names Jaish chief Masood Azhar

National Investigation Agency (NIA) files chargesheet in Pathankot airbase terror attack. NIA files chargesheet in NIA Special Court against senior commanders of JeM for their involvement in the Pathankot attack. The chargesheet has been filed against JeM Chief Masood Azhar, JeM Dy Chief MA Rauf Asghar, Shahid Latif, launching commander and Kashif Jan, main handler.

NIA will also issue a Red Corner notice against Masood and the other three JeM operatives.

NIA had reached out to Pakistan seeking its assistance in the probe twice earlier this year, but has received no reply so far. A call was then taken to go ahead with the chargesheet with or without Pakistans cooperation.
