Australia survive Pakistan scare in day-night Test

Pakistan gave Australia a mighty scare as they were bowled out for 450 after being set a massive 490 for victory in the day-night Test in Brisbane, on Monday.

Asad Shafique played a sparkling innings of 137, putting on 71 runs for the ninth wicket with Yasir Shah to keep Pakistan in the hunt.

But Shafique's dismissal to Mitchell Starc ended Pakistan's hopes before Yasir was run out as Pakistan narrowly lost by 39 runs.
