No holiday in schools, colleges, confirms TN education minister

Tamil Nadu's School Education Minister K Pandiarajan has clarified that there was no direction for closure sent out to educational institutions in the state.

While some private schools have opted to remain closed without citing any reason, most schools and colleges remained open on the day.

According to reports, examinations of Anna University and Madras University will be conducted as per the schedule.
