Apollo Hospital rejects reports of Jaya's death; AIADMK flag raised again

As Apollo Hospitals put out a release, terming reports of Jayalalithaas death in local media 'totally baseless and false', the party flag at All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagams headquarters was again raised to full mast.

Earlier, violence broke out outside Apollo Hospital in Chennai after reports said that Jayalalithaa was no more.

However, Sangita Reddy of Apollo Hospitals said, "A large team of doctors from Apollo and AIIMS continues to provide all life saving measures to Jayalalithaa."
