Changes in governors in TN, MP

President Pranab Mukherjee has announced the the following appointments:

-- C Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra to discharge the functions of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Tamil Nadu are made. Tamil Nadu governor K Rosaiah completed his tenure on 30 August, 2016.

-- Om Prakash Kohli, Governor of Gujarat to discharge the functions of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh are made. MP governor Ram Naresh Yadav completes his tenure on September 7.
