Del Potro was stuck in elevator for 40 minutes just ahead of crucial Djoko match

While we know that Argentine Juan Martn del Potro downed the world's #1 player, Novak Djokovic, in straight sets -- a result that earned del Potro a warm embrace and some words that brought him to tears, what we may not, is that just ahead of the game, del Potro was stuck in an elevator for 40 minutes. The incident happened at Rio's Olympic Village before his opening match at the Olympics.

The picture alongside of del Potro looking resigned in the elevator was tweeted by BBC.

Lesson to be learnt is not to take the annoyance to court. Years of injuries have dropped his once-top-five ranking down to #141, but the Argentine still went ahead and beat Djokovic.
