Bulandshahr gangrape case: Main accused arrested

Three including the main accused in the brutal Bulandshahr gangrape case were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police on Monday, state DGP Javeed Ahmed said.

Main accused Salim Bawaria and the remaining three were on the run, while three others had been arrested earlier.

A 35-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were allegedly gangraped by a group of robbers in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district.

The victims were on their way from Noida to Shahjahanpur with the other family members when their vehicle was stopped near a cycle repairing shop in Dostpur village on NH-9, which connects Noida and Bulandshahr.
