Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad inaugurated the 2nd anniversary event of MyGov today. PM Modi is set to address a Obama-style townhall later in the day.
"Our PM Narendra Modi calls himself Pradhan Sevak and that reflects the people centric change in governance," Prasad said.
"Those who think for the country and work for its development have been given a platform to participate. It's our effort to connect with people directly in governance of India," he added.
"Digital India is the destiny of India and digital democracy is essence of India," the minister said.
