Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal wants files related to the attack on Sri Darbar Sahib during the Operation Blue Star to be made public. The food processing minister said that the files related to the events and direction issued which led to tanks and cannons being used in precincts of the Sikh holy place be made public so that people know the truth behind this episode.

She said the "roles of Congress leaders Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar be re-investigated" in the entire episode on the basis of "facts that were concealed".
