A second postmortem conducted on Kirpal Singh, the Indian prisoner who died in a Pakistani jail, says that there were no external or internal injuries on his body.

Dr Ashok Chawla, head of the panel who conducted the postmortem said, "Don't find any kind of foul play in this case."

Singh's first postmortem was done today at the Jinnah Hospital in Lahore, after which the body was handed over to India.

The family members of Kirpal Singh had on Friday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh to express their concerns over the gruesome treatment meted out to Indians languishing in Pakistani jails.

Kirpal Singh's family had earlier rejected Pakistan's claim that he died of a heart attack and demanded a postmortem to ascertain the true facts behind his sudden death.
