Day 2: Will-Kate pay homage at India Gate

On day 2 of William and Kate's India visit, the Duke and Duchess paid homage at the India Gate war memorial in New Delhi. Following this will be a visit to Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated and a a party in honour of the British queen's birthday at the residence of the British High Commissioner.

The royals began a seven-day tour of India and Bhutan on Sunday, beginning with Mumbai. So far the pair have visited the historic Banganga water tank in Mumbai and enjoyed a game of cricket with none other than Sachin Tendulkar, attending a party graced by Bollywood's who's wo and charity events.
