Training its guns at Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the Shiv Sena on Wednesday said the recent unrest at Srinagar's National Institute of Technology campus is taking place as the former did not chant slogan of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' during her oath-taking ceremony on April 4.

'If Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti would have raised the slogan of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' before or after taking the oath, it would have sent a good message across the state. But unfortunately, nothing of that sort happened,' Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut was quoted as saying by ANI.

'This is the result of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'. There is a force in Kashmir which does not want to hear slogans like 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Hindusthan Jindabaad'. A conflict is going on with them,' he added.
