FTII stir to continue as talks with govt fail

Film and Television Institute of India students held talks with Information and Broadcasting Ministry officials here today, but did not reach an consensus. The students demanded the removal of Gajendra Chauhan as the institute chief, but the government paid no need.

The students said they will continue the strike. Another round of talks is scheduled for Thursday.

The meeting took place at the office of the Films Division, Vikas Urs, spokesman of the FTII Students' Association said.
