Bihar seat-sharing formula: NDA to concede more seats for allies

In an effort to break the deadlock over seat sharing for Bihar assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party has agreed to concede more seats for its allies like Ram Vilas Paswan's  LJP, Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM and RLSP of Upendra Kushwaha, India Today reports.  

According to the formula agreed upon by the NDA allies, the BJP will be contesting on 157 seats, LJP on 41, RLSP on 25 and HAM on 15. Five current MLAs, who are with Manjhi, will be contesting on BJP ticket. Sources told India Today that an official announcement about seat sharing will be made later today.
