Just in: K P Sharma Oli is elected as Nepal's new prime minister with 338 votes against Sushil Koirala's 249. Oli secured 338 votes out of 598.

Earlier reports had suggested that the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) chairman was heading towards absolute majority.
