BJP leader showers money at cultural function, images go viral

Images have emerged of a local BJP leader in Gujarat showering bucket-full of currency notes on a famous Gujarati singer at a function held in outskirts of Vadodara recently.

However, the leader says it was for a good cause, to be used for the protection of cows BJP leaders were special guests at the cultural programme organised by a local youth organisation.

The images, which are being widely shared on WhatsApp, show Vadodara district's BJP president, Satish Patel, holding a plastic bucket full of currency notes that he showers on singer Kirtidan Gadhvi as he sings sitting with his legs crossed on a stage at the programme.
