Several people shot at parade in New Orleans park

At least 16 people were shot in New Orleans, Louisiana when a gunman began randomly firing at hundreds of people gathered in a playground for a video filming event.

Local media describe a chaotic scene, with the injured lying on the ground and ambulances rushing away.

Police estimate up to 300 people were at the parade.

Its unclear how many people were shot, what their conditions are or what led to the shooting.
