Peter Mukerjea being taken to Delhi by CBI

JUST IN: former media magnate Peter Mukerjea is being taken to New Delhi by the CBI.

Earlier in the day, the CBI got Peter Mukerjea's custody for another three days. The CBI had asked for a 10-day extension. Mukerjea's custody ends on November 26.

The CBI has told the Mumbai court that financial transactions were the motive behind Sheena Bora's murder and has asked the court for a remand extension of 10 days.

Mukerjea was produced before the court in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case. Peter was arrested on November 20 on charges of murder, abduction and criminal conspiracy and has been in CBI custody since.
