7 people including woman pilot killed in chopper crash in Katra

Mukhtar Ahmad/Rediff.com reporting from Srinagar says that the pilot of the chopper carrying the six pilgrims was a woman. Everyone on board the chopper which was flying from Katra to the cave shrine of Vaishnodevi has died in the crash.

The helicopter belonged to the privately-run Himalayan Heli Services, which also runs choppers for the Chardham Yatra.
