Armed robbers loot Rs 80,000 from SBI

In a broad daylight robbery, three armed miscreants today shot dead a security guard and looted around Rs 80,000 from a nationalised bank in Chinhat police station area of the state capital this afternoon.
Three masked men barged into the State Bank of India and shot dead the guard Shravan Kumar, who offered resistance, police said.
Holding the staff and customers at gun point, they later looted cash estimated to be around Rs 80,000 and fled, police said.
Combing has been launched to nab the culprits, police said, adding that the CCTV footage was being examined and the eye witnesses were also being questioned.
