Manjhi tears into ally BJP: Bhagwat should not have made quota remark

Just in: PM Narendra Modi arrives at the BJP Parliamentary meet to review the humiliating defeat in Bihar. Modi called the meeting with a group of 12 senior leaders, to discuss the impact of its mammoth defeat in Bihar.

This morning, BJP president Amit Shah told RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat that his remarks on quota did not have a negative effect on the polls. He said the reason for the debacle was because the party failed to project a backward leader in Bihar.

Meanwhile, BJP ally Jitan Ram Manjhi (who kept his seat) blamed Mohan Bhagwat for the poor showing at the polls saying the RSS chief should not have made the quota remark at such a crucial time.
