Former deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Modi, and the man who could have been the next CM had the BJP won the elections, holds a press conference conceding defeat and what a gracious speech it is.

Modi who addressed close to 180 rallies in the state said, "People have given a clear majority to the Mahagathbandhan. It's good that it's not a fractured mandate.

"I congratulate Nitish Kumar for the victory and the Election Commission for conducting  fair elections in Bihar.

"The NDA won less seats than expected, we will introspect over our shortcomings in coming days.

"We will extend our full support to the govt for development in the state and will play the role of constructive opposition."

He gets our vote for the innate dignity in the speech.
