Exit polls show Grand Alliance win

As per the exit polls, Janata Dal-United led Mahagathbandhan or grand alliance has a slight edge over the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. Only News 24/Today's Chanakya and India Today-Cicero's exit polls predict a win for the NDA.
At least 122 seats are required for majority in the 243-seat Bihar legislative assembly. n the outgoing assembly, the JD-U and the BJP had contested elections and together and won a massive majority.
The JD-U had won 115 seats and the BJP 91. The RJD had won 22 seats and Congress 4 when they contested on their own.
