A day after renowned singer Ghulam Ali confirmed his participation at the Lucknow Mahotsav scheduled for December 3, the Uttar Pradesh unit of Shiv Sena came out with open threats of making the situation "worse" for the Pakistani ghazal maestro if he landed in Lucknow.

The BJP's coalition partner in Maharashtra had attacked Sudheendra Kulkarni (aide of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee) with ink, hours before the book launch of former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri which Kulkarni had organised in Mumbai last month.

"We will not only paint face of Ghulam Ali black but make his condition worse than Sudheendra Kulkarni if he landed in Lucknow to perform at the Mahotsav," said UP Shiv Sena president Anil Singh.
