Did Imran Khan's ex-wife Reham try to poison him?

A theory that has been doing the rounds lately since ex-cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's divorce with wife Reham Khan, is that the latter had tried to poison the 62-year-old.

Reham could have tried to poison Imran to grab his political legacy.

Pakistani journalist Arif Nizami revealed information about the attempted poisoning citing intelligence sources. Nizami told Pakistan's News 24 channel that Reham's intentions weren't right and that she tried to poison her husband to grab hold of his political power. "Intelligence agencies conveyed to Imran through his close friends that Reham's intentions were not right. It was feared she could poison Imran to grab his party's reigns."

Since the couple announced their split on October 30, this theory was brought up.
