3rd attack in 24 hours: 3 soldiers, 1 militant killed in Tangdhar, Kashmir

In the third such attack in Kashmir, 3 soldiers and a militant have been killed in the Tangdhar sector in Kashmir.
A defence spokesperson said that the incident happened when the militants were trying to infiltrate India. "A patrol of a forward battalion led by a JCO intercepted the militants. Heavy fire followed during which three soldiers died. From the dead militant, an AK-47 and a pistol was recovered," he said.
Earlier in the day, militants opened fire
After militants opened fire at a Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited franchise in Sopore, Kashmir, killing 1 and injuring 2 others. After that, in a second attack, an army jawan was critically injured by militants in south Kashmir's Kulgam district. One militant was also killed.
