Media over-projecting attacks on churches: RSS

The RSS today charged the media with showing "half-truths" and "over-projecting" attacks on churches in the country, saying it "affected" India's image internationally.

RSS joint general secretary Krishan Gopal also targeted the media for 'over-playing' the issue of atrocities on women in the country and said the percentage of such incidents was much more in European countries but the media there did not create sensation.

"While the attacks on four churches in the country were over-projected by the media, due to which India's image with regard to minorities came out in a negative manner as if minorities are being treated badly.
