Twitter CEO Dick Costolo calls on PM

ick Costolo, CEO, Twitter, called on Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Tuesday.The prime minister spoke about avenues through which Twitter can help in initiatives such as 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan' and 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' not just by providing a platform but also by initiating a prolonged effort to support these initiatives.

He also urged Twitter to help promote India's rich tourist potential across the world. Modi talked about the International Day of Yoga and how Twitter can contribute in making it more vibrant across the world.

Modi said that Twitter should tap into India's linguistic diversity and offer services that would draw people from various linguistic backgrounds to Twitter.
