Qatar emir meets President, PM

Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani was accorded a ceremonial reception and a Guard of Honour at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.

National anthems of both nations were also played to welcome the Emir.Among the personages present to receive the Qatari Emir were President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Colonel (Retd.) Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Chief of Naval Staff R.K. Dhowan, along with several other dignitaries.
