Just in: Investigations into the alleged gang-rape of the 71-year-old nun goes to the CBI. The nun, who was raped by a gang of bandits in West Bengal's Nadia district is believed to be physically and mentally stable, an attending doctor said on Tuesday.
People have demanded a CBI probe into the matter, drawing angry reactions from WB CM Mamata Banerjee. She blamed the opposition, including the BJP, for politicising the incident.
