Kerala assembly lockdown anticipating UDF, LDF confrontation

With a confrontation looming large between ruling UDF and LDF Opposition in Kerala on budget day tomorrow over the bar bribery issue, Finance Minister K M Mani today stayed back in the Assembly complex to thwart opposition's attempt to prevent him from presenting it.

As LDF made it clear that all roads leading to the Assembly would be blocked, security has been tightened and the entire assembly area cordoned off.
