Pesarattu and upma feature on Parliament's canteen menu
March 10, 2015  15:34
There're a couple of new dishes on the Parliament canteen menu: pesarattu and upma, courtesy TRS member A Jitendhar Reddy who is also chairman of the Parliament canteen committee.

Reddy decided to introduce the two dishes to promote Telangana's rich cuisine among MPs. On Tuesday he went around Central Hall urging them to taste the dishes and let him know what they thought of the two dishes, and also to encourage regional cuisines in the canteen.

At least 100 items were ordered by Reddy, it is learnt. And as someone who loves pesarattu, we can only say, we like!
